The new winch is installed

When this 3 1/2 ton mammoth gets stuck in the mud, who are you going to call?

Another big truck owner?

The Incredible Hulk?

How about a 12000 Pound winch attached to a Curt Front Hitch!!

I just need a tree that won't be uprooted while trying to pull this behemoth out when diff deep in mud.

Inside the camper

There is camping, and then there is camping! Who said you can't take the kitchen sink.

Yes, that's a queen size bed, half size fridge and KITCHEN SINK.

Wow, a shower and toilet on one side and stove on the other. I might need to ensure those two activities are used at separate times. No more bathroom activities while the missus is cooking dinner.

The Slide-On Caravan is on!

Thanks to Ian at Freedom Offroad, we now have our Slide-On Camper installed.

We decided on an Offroada 8. This piece of caravanning luxury comes with a queen size bed, shower, toilet, kitchen and plenty of storage space for all our crap. Oh, did I mention it has an Air Conditioner! Well, we're not slumming it around Australia you know ;-)

Touring Vehicle - 2012 Ford F-250 Lariat FX4

We picked up this rig, a 2012 F-250 Lariat, from Harrison Ford down in Victoria.

Kelvin, the Sales Rep, has been very helpful. The conversion was done by VDC and you would never know it was once left hand drive.

The Planning has begun

The dream is to travel around Australia towing our two Jetskis to some of the best and most remote places in Australia.

Thanks to CommSys Australia, this trip is going to become a reality.

This is the planned track

Starting from Sydney Australia the plan is to travel to Brisbane. We'll have a stop over and quick ski there before heading up the coast to the Whitsunday's.

From there will head further north, Townsville and maybe Cairns, looking for the best place to see the Great Barrier Reef.

Next we'll head west towards Darwin, stopping at some of the good destinations along the way. Hopefully I can find a boat ramp near Katherine Gorge and drop the skis in there?

After Darwin, we'll drop the skis and head into Kakadu National Park. See if we can bag ourselves a crocodile and let it loose on some of CommSys' non-paying customers.

Next will be the West Coast passing through Lake Argyle to Broom. Then Karratha, Carnarvon and Monkey Mia.

From there we'll head East along the Great Central Road, towards Ayers Rock. Finally, south to Coober Pedy, east to Broken Hill and home to Sydney.

Thanks again CommSys Australia.
